Actress Says She Had the Single Worst Experience Working With Tim Allen

Hollywood actress and comedian Casey Wilson has sparked intense internet debate after opening up about her time on the set of the Disney+ series The Santa Clauses, calling her time filming with Tim Allen “the single worst experience” she has ever had with a co-star.

Speaking on an episode of her podcast, Bitch Sesh, the Happy Endings and Saturday Night Live alum detailed a highly uncomfortable environment while filming a guest appearance for the show’s pilot episode.

According to Wilson, the tension reached a boiling point during a scene where her character throws household items at Allen’s Santa Claus, who is coming down the chimney. Wilson claims that Allen refused to speak to her directly, opting instead to complain about her to a producer standing nearby.

“Tim Allen was so incredibly rude,” Wilson revealed. “He goes to the producer, who is standing four feet from me, and says, ‘You gotta tell her to stop stepping on my lines.’ The producer turns to me with horror on his face and has to repeat it.”

Wilson also described a general atmosphere of fear on set, claiming that crew members and cast alike were “walking on eggshells” around the veteran actor. She added that Allen never made eye contact with her and eventually walked off the set while they were still shooting.

“When he was done, he was so f***ing rude,” Wilson said. “He bitches. He takes his Santa velvet cloak off, throws it on the floor, and walks off. And the producer steps up and says, ‘We’re going to shoot Casey’s close-ups now with a stand-in.'”

Wilson admitted she kept quiet at the time because her kids loved the franchise and a close friend was working as a producer on the series.

Neither Tim Allen nor representatives for Disney have issued an official response to the allegations.
